Bekonix is for startups, enterprises, or any independent innovator who has the desire of building a smart product.
It is typically created for early market testing of key features with test audience or demand rating. The product is iteratively evolved with market feedback. Price range $1999-$7999*/month. Typically time range is 3-6 months for average products, however, it is not guaranteed because the degree of finish is variable.
Price and time are dependent on the complexity of the hardware and smart feature set of the product. The lowest price is typically for a product with a max 1 sensor and one servo, connectivity options limited to BLE and Cat M1, and a low complexity smart algorithm. With the increase in requirement, the price and time go up in that range. There is a per unit/month SaaS charge (typically a small amount) for the units going to market. It is to cover the cost of Bekonix OS, Cellular charges, and Mobile app usage. The program requires a decent level of detail documented before applying. This is for the smart hardware and mobile app to control the device and does not include the mechanical or industrial design of the product or cloud functionality. All these can be added optionally at an additional charge.
If you move to this stage and do not have experience in building physical smart products, Bekonix with it's partner network has the eco system to facilitate all these three stages. Price/terms for this is created custom for each venture. Significant discount is given to the ventures coming from the program and typically includes a per month fee plus the expenses in mechanical/industrial designs, BOM/manufacturing costs, required certifications, etc.
